Empowering young people through vocational skills training and environmental conservation projects across the Niger Delta.
The Youth Empowerment & Environmental Program combines skill development with community service, giving young people both purpose and practical experience.
Program highlights include:
• Vocational skills and trade training
• Work-readiness preparation with safety certification
• Environmental conservation and shoreline cleanup projects
• Community development initiatives
• Mentorship and career guidance
Participants are equipped with:
• Professional safety gear (hard hats, high-visibility vests, boots, gloves)
• Hands-on training in environmental remediation
• Team leadership and project management skills
• Certificates of completion for employment
The program has trained dozens of youth in practical skills while simultaneously cleaning up waterfront communities and riverbanks. Participants have gone on to secure employment in various sectors, breaking the cycle of unemployment and creating positive change in their communities.
This initiative demonstrates the foundation's belief that if you empower a youth, you empower a generation.
